For any one who likes the previous worm games this is a must buy. it's everything you like about the worms but in 3D the graffics are great and keep true to the worm type theme's of the previous games. the controls are pretty straight forward except x is a fire button and square is jump. I don;t like that part I lost count on how many times I tried to jump and ended up bombing myself.
There are still literaly millions of different levels. you can choose to make your own on a percentage rate. in other words pick the percentage oif bridges and land and islands etc. they also have preloaded lands also.
There's tons of weapons you can get and choose from. you can also choose which ones start in the level and such.
I haven't yet played one player so I am not sure how hard or good that is.
All the vopices are back from the original worms. and you can still pick your grave stone type. what voice the worms have you can name the worms in your team pick your flag type and more.
Now multi player is cool cause it's 1 to 4 players but there is no split screen and you all use the same controller. you take turns basically blowing each other up.
one of the only bad things about this game was the fact that it isn't online. If this game was online it would be perhaps the most fun online game out right now. but it isn't so I guess just stick w/ the multi player mode 1 to 4 players
Now the other thing I don't like which was true for the other games as well is the environments are not interactive. What I mean by this is if there is lets say a ballon above the level that is held by a rope. I think that if you blow the rope up the ballon should float away in turn killing any worm on the ballon. but it's doesn't it just floats there. or if you blow the base of something up that thing should fall over. although this doesn't happen everything in the level can be blown up. you take a shot at some one not only does it blow them up but the ground around them also. whcih is just like the previous worms games.
I gove this game an 8. this game would be perhaps a 9 or ten if it was online. This game is a must buy and after all it is only $30 bucks new.
